Back pain is the easiest thing to get and one of the hardest to deal with or get through. I read a Merry Christmas wish and totally forgot until today. Happy New Year jill.

Thank you for taking care of those dogs the way you have. Personally, I got stuck with a huge mess of cats. A mommy stray left 5 babies last spring and within 3 months there were 2 pregnant with 5 babies each. I sure could use a dog to clear these cats. My Player passed a few years ago and the cats moved in. I haven't the heart to be cruel or practical. I guess I can empathise on both counts.

Using dogs to clear out the cats? How about actually doing something productive? Have you checked for resources in your area that could help with humane trapping a low cost or free spay neuter services? If you don't take the first step and actually do something it will only get much worse.

I have a rather large Humane Society center nearby. +Years past they held low-cost clinics. Today they won't even discuss the subject. When asked for a recommendation of who may do what's needed, there was crickets chirping.

The vet that took care of my dogs - even though he's a Texas boy too - will not do these cats for less than $160 each (if it's a simple clip).

Having very low resources makes it a no go. Or as jill has taught me, a subject to find a workaround for. (sorry for ending with a preposition Mrs. Adelson) 🌺
