I have been prepping for many years. At the same time, I rotate food items so they can be eaten while they're still fresh. I do this, not out of fear, but to bring peace of mind. I might not survive what is coming, but I know my own kids and grandkids have a better chance to learn from my example.

As for most people I try to convince to see the benefit of prepping, they're convinced that I am nuts, and that, if SHTF happens, they now know where to get the supplies. Needless to say, I make sure only my own family knows where I live. As for getting a group of like minded people to live, work, and protect each other, it has been very difficult to even find that needed dynamic required, in order to attempt a living situation that will be required for survivals sake.

Sounds like you are making some changes, Jill Elizabeth. Try to be in a safe place, hopefully one place where you can continue your work and have clean water and air? Good luck to us all. Sherrill*

The talk today has some weight to it. It reminded me of the Zeitgeist movies.

I hope your journey to the "next" is beneficial to you. I pray you remember us when you can afford the time.

My cacti are yellow. Your's look unusually colored.

I had the message typed out just before the ending where you talked about the unusual color of the cactus in your pictures.

I was just too lazy to edit, at that time.

Thank you Jill. Cactus are such a conflicting plant. Hardened and danger spikes, with a delicate beautiful flower. Such is all the world. L&B
