Hola! Wind filled greetings from New Mexico! We are perched on top of a tiny hill waiting for the incoming storm. The view is awesome!!! As i write this, lots more snow on them there mountains. Haven found immediately🐕 Your support is appreciated 🙏❤️🤗
Looks like you had a nice update revisiting your current space. You have experienced much between those two bookends.
I just got back from a 12 hour road trip and decided to use the old fashioned map rather than printing out a Mapquest route. It was amazing. Then entire trip was on only three highways...through small towns. Took twice as long because I kept stopping, exploring and taking pictures. But so much more enjoyable than taking a freeway. It was a much needed escape for me. I thought about how walking would take me about two months or more...if I could even pull it off. Without the ability of car travel….home takes on a whole different experience. Not just the base camp from which to travel…. But the world...the universe to some degree for all our needs. A challenging thought for sure...scary as sh...t!
Hard to imagine a mass migration within the US toward whatever resources are needed to live another day. I have to keep slapping myself…thank you very much. Argh!
I knew a woman who...even though she lived a millionaire lifestyle...still saved and folded the aluminum foil and stacked it in a kitchen drawer. Mostly likely a remnant from the Depression era.
Wasn't the Gila the first place ever to be a land set-aside. New Mexico calls to you doesn't it? You know more than I do but I would not go there until the end April.

I set up a trickle water line and set the grow light to turn on for 18 hrs. and then off for 6 hrs.
I had everything looking great and then I went on a 3 day fishing trip. It was a catch and release stream that was surprisingly loaded with fish. I didn't catch or release any of them.
When I got home, it was clear that I am a dummy sometimes.
I forgot to turn the waterer on. This gave all of my seedlings a chance to burn to a crisp from the grow lights.

Thank you Jill. Nice views. Agreed, paper towels and aluminum foil would be hard to get by without. L&B

I am going to try again.
