Yes, i have watched long term friends blow up beyond repair...attacking each other and their family members. We are being 'squeezed' and what's inside is coming out into the light. Part of me sees that as a good thing.... if done and shared with some semblance of awareness and not getting too caught up in the emotional quagmire. Don't let that moment erase years of experience and trust. We need people we can trust and heal with.

A friend turned me on to Michael Jr. yesterday.... A special called More Than Funny. It's looking at your life (+/-) as a 'set up' for what's to come...that being our punch line. (and using that for service to others) We just might be living one hell of a set up....waiting and waiting for the punch line. I don't know whether to eat healthy, get stronger, learn nuclear war survival skills, scream, plant more beans, go to the range or just work on getting that raccoon out of my attic that confronted me in the hallway this morning. I believe that you, Jill, have found your 'punch line' and are living it, sharing it, preparing us for some unknown future that....we dread facing even as it is closing in on us. Laughter is a great discharge-er of energy….gets things moving again. It’s like shaking......with a smile. Such trickery.

I've wondered about Trump's stress as well. But it's not

affecting him as it would most of us. In his head it's all going to work out to his way.

To me, this is a bright light saying this guy is nuts.

No truer words ...

This is a momentous time. To be very young again, when you were immune to stress, when you were filled with possibilities, those were the days my friend. Sounds familiar, maybe a song?

Now I'm older and much like no one wants to admit, much less wiser. Can not imagine possibilities, instead only see negativity. Today it's Haiti, yesterday Laken Riley, tomorrow?

It's difficult to not freeze when you have no answer.

Songs indeed. So many lyrics come to mind in your response. Those Were the Days (my friend) ...the most obvious; Cat Stevens, Oh Very Young; Cody Jinks, Less Wise and Derrick Dove; When Did I Get Old. Us old guys have much to offer if we'd just quit tying our shoe laces together. Youth and it's innocence is way over rated. Age trumps crazy and stupid in my book. Sometimes i just have to get out the door and move to figure out what to do next. But so far, there always has been a next thing...which got me to where i am now. Oh and another trigger from...(when you have no answer...) another Cat Stevens...Hard Headed Woman. Sorry if this is TMI...guess i'm just in a lyrical place today.
